A Heat Advisory is in effect for Douglas county through Sunday evening and an Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for Leavenworth and Wyandotte Counties through Sunday evening.

Thursday: Today looks to be another hot one with a high temperature expected to reach 106°.  Skies will start partly cloudy as the moisture that moved through last night exits our viewing area.  A slim chance at a few pop-up showers remains for this evening, however, any storms that are produced will be isolated and fast moving.  Past the slight chance at rain tonight conditions look to be hot and dry for the next week or so.
