More than 100 people gathered on the lawn south of Potter Lake on Saturday to celebrate bluegrass music at the Bluegrass Festival. Kansas University's Student Union Activities organized the free event.

About 100 people turned out to participate in a bicycle rally fund-raiser Saturday. The riders paid entry fees to ride anywhere from six miles to 50 miles to benefit Headquarters Counseling Center.
