KU women's basketball starts season in the Coaches Poll
The Kansas women’s basketball team will open the season in the coaches poll.
The Jayhawks came in at number 25 in the nation for the 2012-2013 season, right where they left off at the end of last season.
Four starters will be returning to the hardwood this season including seniors Carolyn Davis and Angel Goodrich.
Both players were on the Wade Trophy Watch List for this season, along with 23 other NCAA Division I student-athletes.
The women will finish up their exhibition games this Sunday when they take on Fort Hays State University.
