Eudora Cardinals end undefeated season
The Eudora High football mentality isn’t flashy or explosive, but it produces wins. However, that gameplan couldn’t keep the Cardinals from maintaining its undefeated season.
The St. James Academy Thunder scored 17 points in the final 5 minutes to stun the Cardinals 17-4. EHS now falls to 5-1.
In 6A competition, Brad Strauss and the Lawrence Lions won its battle with the Raiders of Shawnee Mission South, 32-15.
Fourth-ranked Free State squared off against undefeated Shawnee Mission East. Free State shuts out the Lancers 28-0. The Free State Firebirds will take on Wyandotte next Friday night.
