Residents compete in the annual Sertoma 48 BBQ Cook-off
Lawrence- If you’re in town this weekend, do your taste buds a favor and head out to the 14th annual Sertoma 48 BBQ Cook-off. 48 teams compete for $4,800 in 48 categories. Proceeds will benefit programs for kids and adults with speech, language, and hearing disorders. Organizers say they’re excited to turn up the heat for a good cause, and with a chance to compete in the American Royal Cook-off on the line, Pitmasters say they’re in it to win it.
