The Lawrence Public Library will reveal the winners of a special project this evening.
While they celebrate banned books week every year, this year is special. The library was one of eight libraries to receive a national grant.
The extra money has allowed them to do something that they have wanted to do for a while. They recently held a contest for local artists to design trading cards based on banned books.
46 entered, but only seven were chosen.
The winners of the banned books trading card design competition will be revealed tonight at 7:30 at the Library.
Starting Sunday, you can see the winning artwork at the Lawrence Art Center.
You can visit the Library or the Lawrence Arts Center to collect the trading cards.
