Library receives books back after water main break
KU's Art and Architecture library may still be closed from flooding last month, but today staff re-welcomed a set of recovered books.
Emergency plans are in place for documents at all KU libraries in the event of a fire, tornado or flood. On-call teams are assembled and training for potential disaster is updated each year.
The Art and Architecture library is scheduled to re-open mid September, but no official date is set.
