Lawrence Police investigate overnight burglaries
The women who live at 1334 Ohio St. are not exactly expecting to see their 32 inch television again. But they're not happy about knowing someone entered their home and took something that belonged to them.
Six of the 13 ladies who live there, were asleep in their beds when the burglary happened. They have a number of doors in the home. Sone of them have deadbolts and some have keypads. One resident says she thinks maybe with all the activity at the house lately, a door was left unlocked.
A similar situation happened down the street at 1425 Kentucky. Police are investigating a case of aggravated burglary there too.
Police urge residents to lock their doors and keep a close eye on their property.
