Lawrence homeless shelters bracing for winter storm
Loring Henderson is prepping the Lawrence Community Shelter for the oncoming snow storm.
The center is expected to be filled to capacity, but the Salvation Army and several local churches will serve as overflow centers.
The shelter and Salvation Army have about 100 beds combined with the other churches offering 15 beds each. Henderson says he’s confident that no one will be left out in the cold.
