KC man causes car chase with Lawrence police
A vehicle with a stolen tag lead Lawrence police on a chase for several blocks last night.
The driver, a Kansas City Missouri man, had a warrant for his arrest for burglary and a revoked Missouri driver’s license.
The chase ended after the driver sped through Myers Liquor parking lot.
It continued through the grass until he stopped in a yard at 22nd Terrace.
The driver has several charges from the incident.
