KU theater students prep for debut of original stage play

Want to know how survive those four years of college? Well, University of Kansas theatre students can help you do just that. In their new and completely student-run stage-play, "How to Survive College and Other Painful Acts," students depict the humor in the myths that come with college being the best four years of your life.

"It's kind of a true story in a weird round-about kind of way, so it's relatable. It's been crazy and it's all student-run. We want them to have a good time. We decided the moral of the story is just to always keep moving forward, regardless of the fact that you may not know what you're moving forward towards," said Cale Morrow, playwright and student at KU.

Opening night for the comedy is February 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the William Inge Memorial Theatre. You can get tickets for the show at the KU ticket offices. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. For more information on show dates, click here.
