The North Iowa Street Bridge over the Kansas Turnpike will reopen to traffic at noon Friday, officials said.
The bridge closed for construction in December, to pave the way for the Kansas River Bridges and Interchange Plaza Improvement Project. The multimillion-dollar, three-year project will replace both turnpike bridges over the Kansas River and update both turnpike interchanges in Lawrence.
