A 19-year-old Topeka man pleaded guilty Tuesday in connection with a series of armed robberies last year in Lawrence.
Mario Jordan pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated robbery and two counts of robbery, according to David Melton, assistant Douglas County district attorney. District Judge Jack Murphy set sentencing for 4 p.m. June 27.
Jordan and another Topeka man — Javier Cox, 18 — were arrested last November after robberies at two Kwik Shops. Cox pleaded guilty to attempted robbery and aiding a felon. He was placed on probation.
