Lawrence man injured in motorcycle-deer wreck

A Lawrence man was injured this morning in a motorcycle-deer collision on Kansas Highway 32 east of Bonner Springs.

At 6:20 a.m., Bradley W. Willis, 51, was driving a 2004 Honda motorcycle east near K-32 and 121st Street when the vehicle struck a deer, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.

Willis, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Gene Hallinan, a hospital spokeswoman, said this afternoon that Willis was listed in fair condition.
