Lawrence woman crowned Ms. Wheelchair Kansas

A Lawrence woman is crowned this weekend as Miss Wheelchair Kansas. Ranita Wilks won the honor during Sunday's crowning ceremony at Topeka's Capitol Plaza. Wilks, who works as a living skills and peer counseling specialist won the award for her role assisting those with disabilities.
