Lawrence teacher advocates for women with disabilites

A Lawrence teacher will compete in a statewide competition this weekend aimed at advocating for women with disabilities. Amanda Trei teaches special education at Hillcrest Elementary School. In addition to patience and caring, Trei has another trait to help her identify with her students. She uses a wheelchair herself.
