After six years at 10th and Kentucky Streets, the Lawrence Community Shelter is looking to move. Officials have their sights set on the vacant Lake View Manor Nursing Home in south Lawrence. The move would more than triple its size, but nearby residents will not give their new neighbor a warm welcome.
