Roger Quakenbush has an eye for men's fashion that is still in demand 60 years later. After serving in World War II, Quakenbusch returned to Lawrence and started working at Carl's Clothiers. Eventually he bought Carl's, merged with Weaver's and managed the men's department for 30 years.
