Life in the fast lane is on its way to southern Leavenworth County. Kansas Turnpike officials announced plans Friday to build an interchange at I-70 and Leavenworth County Rd. 1. Leavenworth County will be responsible for eight million dollars in upgrades to three miles of county road.
