Chris Brooks used to run a makeshift haunted house from his mother’s garage when he was 12 years old. But his hobby of scaring people eventually turned into a business. Brooks has brought the Castle of Fear to Lawrence after his haunted house outside of Topeka was flooded earlier this month.
