Thirty-eight turkeys and tons of potatoes provided a free dinner Thursday for Lawrence’s less fortunate at the Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen. LINK coordinators say the annual event is as much about the dinner as it is about bringing the community together for the holidays.
