Matt Sayers, 6News chief meteorologist, will chat online Friday afternoon about the weather and weather forecasting with readers of the Journal-World's Web site.
The chat will begin at 1 p.m. on ljworld.com.
Readers may submit questions early or while the chat is in progress. A transcript will be posted after the chat on this Web site.
Sayers has been working as a meteorologist for 6News for two and a half years.
Sayers said 6News now has SelectWarn Radar, which is real-time weather radar that provides the 6News meteorologists with more detailed information to better serve the public and keep them aware of severe weather events.
