The school year officially ended Tuesday, but not all students in Lawrence were celebrating.Teachers and students at the Lawrence Alternative High School said their last goodbyes on the final day of the program, and about 70 students at Deerfield Elementary said goodbye as new boundary changes will land them at Quail Run Elementary next year.
