Wal-Mart expansion approved

Wal-Mart Inc.’s plans for expanding its Lawrence discount store into a supercenter have secured approval from officials at City Hall. The $8.675 million project will add a grocery store, drive-through pharmacy lanes and a fuel center, among other features, at 3300 Iowa.
