Local businessman Rob Phillips said his poor eyesight and fear of intruders were factors leading to his arrest Sunday for battery on a law enforcement office. Phillips claims the deputy who came to his home to check his welfare startled him by entering the home unannounced. Now, Phillips is filing a formal complaint with the sheriff’s office.
