DeSoto Authorities were still at the scene this morning of an overnight fire that gutted the DeSoto Feed and Grain elevator.
Witnesses at the scene said the fire broke out about 4 a.m. at the three-story elevator, which is on the east side of DeSoto.
DeSoto firefighters called in fire departments from the area to help battle the blaze, including fire departments in Olathe and others in Johnson County.
Firefighters had the blaze under control by 5 a.m.. There was no immediate word as to what caused the fire.
