A Douglas County judge will decide if Lawrence’s smoking ban will be suspended while a bar owner challenges its constitutionality. Judge Jack Murphy heard arguments but made no immediate rulings on a request to halt the ban until a lawsuit claiming the ban is a violation of constitutional rights is decided.
