The most popular question during an online chat with Kansas University Provost David Shulenburger Thursday had to do with KU Professor Paul Mirecki, who recently resigned as chairman of the Religious Studies Department. Mirecki, who was allegedly beat up Monday morning, made national headlines when he canceled his intelligent design class last week after furor boiled over regarding comments he made about conservatives on an Internet Listserv.
