With rescue and recovery efforts well under way in Louisiana and Mississippi, here at home, local Red Cross volunteers are preparing to leave to help out with disaster relief. Officials say four volunteers from Douglas County will be deployed to areas of need in New Orleans and on the Mississippi coastline.
