Police searching for man who sexually attacked two women

Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted two women early this morning inside their central Lawrence home.

Police say the man attacked the victims -- a 19 and a 20-year-old -- just before 3:45 a.m. today. The suspect was armed with a handgun.

He's described as a white male, in his 20s, 6 feet tall, with a slim build. That matches the description of the suspect in an unsolved rape over the summer -- where an armed intruder raped a woman inside her southwest Lawrence home. Police report that it's too early to say whether the crimes are related.
