A crime scene investigator took the stand this morning as the preliminary hearing continued into a second day in the case of a Kansas State University professor charged with first-degree murder.
Tom Murray is accused of brutally killing his ex-wife, 40-year-old Carmin Ross, inside her Lakeview home in November 2003.
Detective Zach Thomas testified that blood stains were found in several rooms of the house, including the dining room ceiling, the living room floor, a bathroom sink and on the edge of the dishwasher in the kitchen.
Prosecutors showed diagrams of the crime scene this morning.
Ross's body was found in the living room on the floor next to an overturned coffee table. On Monday, a sheriff's deputy testified it looked like a tornado had gone through the room.
The preliminary hearing started Monday and is expected to last all week.
