Couldn't make it out to mow your yard Sunday or Monday? You'll have another chance today for spring yard work as the dry weather continues, says Matt Sayers, 6News meteorologist.
Despite chilly temperatures this morning, sunny skies and highs in the 70s are expected for the afternoon.
This morning's low thermometer reading bottomed out at 8 a.m., at 36, with a windchill of 31.
"It's just a little chilly out there this morning," Sayers said. "You'll want that jacket this morning."
He predicted it will warm up about 40 degrees today, with the high expected to reach 76 by late afternoon, Sayers said.
The overnight temperature won't drop as low tonight.
"It should be a mild one if you want to open up your windows," Sayers said.
Wednesday's morning low will be 59, he said.
The 80s return on Wednesday, with the high topping out at 85.
"It'll be some 10 to 15 degrees above normal," he said. Winds will be breezy, at 15 to 25 mph.
Thursday's morning low will be 62, with the high reaching 74.
A storm system moving in has the potential of producing scattered thunderstorms through the area on Thursday night and Friday morning, he said. But that's the only chance for rain this week, as drier conditions return for the weekend.
