The topic for the 2012 University Lecture Series at The Commons is “The Visual City: The Intersection of History, Memory, Space and Image.” Dr. Gotham's talk will dovetail with a Commons course designed for Honors Program. Gotham is Professor of Sociology and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in the School of Liberal Arts, Tulane University.
